On each space, you can choose a format / visual representation that is convenient for work.
To switch, you need a panel at the top. In it, the corresponding icons mark the possible types of visual representation of a space:
Boards;
Lists;
Grid;
Timeline;
Calendar;
Reports;
Archive.
Boards are the basic representation of a space in FlowFast.
They are kanban boards freely located in a space vertically or horizontally.
A board can have several columns, subcolumns (vertical division of boards into stages) and lanes (horizontal division of boards).
There are cards with tasks on the boards. The card front displays content information and accent visual icons. For the convenience of working with boards, you can:
fold (an example of folded boards in the picture below);
use filters;
sort cards in columns;
make the display of cards compact or custom;
change the display format of cards in any column.
This space format differs from the previous one in only one property - the boards are arranged only horizontally.
If you fold boards in the Lists view, they collapse into horizontal bars with board names along the left edge of the space (see example in the image below).
Otherwise, the functionality and capabilities are the same as those of the Boards format.
Boards and cards are arranged in the form of a table.
The names of the boards are written in purple in the «Title» column. Boards and cards are displayed in their order in the Boards format: top-down, left-right.
The most important difference from the previous views is that here you can structure information by cards and download it as a table in xlsx format.
To do this, click the «Download» button in the upper right corner.
In addition, in the Grid view, you can:
1. Apply a filter system to find the cards you need.
Click the «Filters» button → select the filter you need.
2. Add and remove fields displayed in the table
Click «Settings» → «Field settings» → check the box next to the fields you need.
3. Adjust column width
To do this, click on the column border and move it without releasing the mouse button. FlowFast will remember your settings so you don't have to adjust anything the next time you visit.
4. Move cards
Hover over the name of the card, and a move icon will appear to the left of the name - drag the card to the location you need.
When moving a card to a child block of another card, FlowFast will ask you if you want to add a link between these cards. You can either simply move the card or add a new link during the move. If the card is transferred from a child block, Kaiten will offer to delete the link.
The Timeline display is a visual representation of scheduled and ongoing tasks over time. This mode allows you to set a time frame for each task, that is, the start and end date of work on it.
Boards and cards are arranged similarly to the presentation in the Grid, i.e. listed vertically. On the right you can see a timescale.
The «Field Settings» and «Filters» are also available here.
In this format, you only see your cards that have a due date (.e. the date when the card should move to the column with the "done" type), timeline or a custom date field marked on them. You can choose the needed option in the select field at the top
You can also select the display interval: Month / Week / Day and scroll using the buttons in the upper left corner. Besides you can ch
In this mode, you can see a list of all the cards that have been archived on the boards in this space.
Filters are also available here, you can adjust the width of the columns and download information in xlsx format.
All archived cards remain on the same boards in which they were archived. The name of the board where the card was located is displayed in the «Board» column.
When removing a board from a space, FlowFast clarifies where to move the archived cards, as they will be removed along with the board.
When placing a board in another space, the archived cards become available in the new space.
If you want to move the archive of cards to another space, it is enough to move the board in which the cards were archived to the needed space.
Unarchiving cards
You can restore an archived card in the «Archive» section. For this:
1. Click on the name of the required card.
2. In the window that opens, click on the button with the arrow on the top right.
In this mode, you can open the report you need for this space.
