What are Spaces

Spaces are the main and top-level essence of FlowFast, the place where the boards are located. You can create spaces and invite people to collaborate with them.

Only the people you invite to a specific space have access to it. They have access to the space and all its internal boards and cards. If a user in your account hasn't been invited to a space, they won't have access to that space or the boards in it.

So, if you have several departments that do not interact with each other, you can separate them by creating multiple spaces.

Multiple spaces in one company account

In FlowFast, you can create an unlimited number of spaces in your company account with different access levels for different users.

Each account user can create their own spaces (excluding guest users). Each user can be invited to one or more company spaces in different roles.

User roles in spaces

The user who created the workspace automatically becomes its administrator. The administrator invites other users to the space and gives them roles:

Administrator

All operations are available, including the removal of boards, columns and lanes, can change the roles of other participants in the space

Editor

All operations are available, except for deleting boards, columns and lanes, moving boards to another space, some operations for setting up integrations and setting up allowed card types for a space are not available.
The editor's access can be restricted so that he sees only those cards in which he is a member or creator.

Commentator

The entire workspace is available in reading mode (boards, charts/reports, archive). The only opportunity is to leave comments in the cards.

Guest User

The entire workspace is available in reading mode (boards, charts/reports, archive). The only opportunity is to leave comments in the cards.
There is no need to pay for a guest user in FlowFast.

Each space user has a different role, independent of other spaces. That is, in one space you can have Administrator rights, and in another – only Editor or Commentator.

Important: if you are the creator (owner) of an account in FlowFast, have access to all administrative sections, you can still have the role of Commentator or Editor in a space created by another user.

Arrangement of boards in spaces

In FlowFast, several boards can be located in one space at once

That is, you can see all the necessary boards for the process on one screen, you do not need to switch between them.

This allows you to see the full picture of your processes.

You can also place the same board with all its cards in several spaces at once

For example, if you have departments with related functions, but in general they have different workflows. Then it is logical to create different spaces for these departments, but place one board with an adjacent function on both at once.

Also, the manager can place the boards he needs from different departments on his space and see the whole picture without the need to go to the spaces of the departments themselves. At the same time, only he himself will have access to the manager's space.
