How to create, rename, move, clone, remove, restore a board

Board creation

Option 1

1. Open menu on the left, hover over the name of the space where you want to create a board

2. Click on the plus next to the space name. In the dropdown menu select "Create a new board"

3. Choose the template that suits you best and the board will appear in the space

   

Option 2

1. Open the space where yo want to create a new board

2. If it's a new or empty space click «Create board» in the center of the screen. If there already are some boards within the space click «Add» at the top and choose «Board».

   

After the board is created you can change its structure by adding/deleting columns, subcolumns, lanes.

Board renaming

Option 1. Just double click the board's name. You'll see the option to rename the board. After you type in the new title click «Save».

Option 2. Click on the three dots in the upper right corner of the board. In the menu that appears, select the «Rename» item.

Moving a board within a space

To move a board within a space left-click the dotted icon to the left of the title and drag the board.

Moving a board to another space

The ability to move boards to another space is only available to space admins. Writers and commentators don't have rights to do it.

Click on the three dots in the upper right corner of the board. In the menu that appears, select «Move board to other space».

In the window that appears, select the space where you want to move the board. Click «Move board».

Board cloning

To create a duplicate of a board click on the three dots in the upper right corner of the board → Choose «Clone board» → Choose whether you want to clone only structure or both structure and cards.

The duplicate will be created on the space depending on the chosen option.

Board removal

Please note that board removal is only available to space admins.

Click on the three dots in the upper right corner of the board. In the menu that appears, select «Remove».

Then FlowFast will suggest you to move cards to another board before board removal.

• If you want to move the cards to another board, please, choose the new destination in the selector.

• If you wish to delete the board together with all the cards tip «Do not move cards. I agree that all cards (including archived ones) will become unavailable».

Click «Remove».

In case the board is located on several spaces, FlowFast will show you the list of these spaces, so, you'll get all the information about other locations of the board (if the board is located on a space you don't have access to this will also be indicated).

Restoring a deleted board

In order to be able to restore a deleted board you need to have access to the «Activity logs» administrative section.

You can find this section on the left-side panel «Administration» → «Activity logs».

To restore a deleted board click on the restoration icon in the corresponding field.

After restoration the board will appear on the same space it was located at the moment of deletion.

If you restore a board from a deleted space you'll be suggested to restore on either one of the existent spaces or create a new space.
