Uploading files to a card (from the device, Google Drive, Dropbox)

You can store all project information in one place by uploading the required files to the cards in FlowFast. As long as the cards are not completely deleted by you, you can go back to the files they contain.

Uploading files from your device

  1. Open the card.

  2. Click on the purple button in the top left corner.

  3. Select "Upload file".

  4. Select the files you want to upload (you can select several at once).

The files will be uploaded and will appear in a separate "Files" section of the open card.

You can rename the uploaded file for convenience. To do so, click the three dots next to the file and select "Rename" → write a new name.

Please note! The maximum file size you can add to the card is 4096 MB. If you try to upload a bigger file, you will see a banner:

There is no general limit on the number of files you can add to the platform.

Uploading files from Dropbox

To connect a file from Dropbox to a card:

  1. Open the card.

  2. Click on the purple button in the top left corner.

  3. In the menu that appears, select Dropbox file.

  4. Log in to Dropbox.

  5. Select the desired file, then tap OK.

The Dropbox files added to the card will be available for viewing and downloading to everyone who has access to the card.

Uploading files from Google Drive

1. Open the card, tap the purple button in the upper left corner of the card, click on Google drive file.

2. In the window that appears, select the file you want and tap Select

3. The file is attached to the card. If you wish you can rename the file.

Accessing files from Google Drive

In the case of Google Drive, the file is not uploaded to FlowFast from Google Drive, only a link to the file is added to the card. If other FlowFast users in your company do not have access to the file in Google Drive, they will not be able to open it (they will get a page requesting access to the file).

Possible problems with uploading files from Google Drive and solutions

If you're having trouble adding files from Google Drive, you may need to check your browser settings, as they may be affected by the cookie setting.

Using Google Chrome as an example:

1. Go to Settings → Privacy and security section, click on "Cookies and other site data".

2. Make sure you have the "Allow all cookies" option selected

3. Check that there are no accounts.google.com or google.com under "Sites that can never use cookies". If there are, delete them.

If you change these settings, try uploading from Google Drive again. If the problem persists reload the browser.

4. The problem can also be caused by third-party extensions of the browser. Deactivate extensions that work with privacy and content blocking, such as Add blocker or Privacy badger.
