How to add users to a space

Only users added to the space have access to boards and cards in the space. In this article you will learn:

  • how to see which users have already been added to the space;

  • how to invite colleagues who already have access to other spaces of your FlowFast account to your space;

  • how to invite a new user who is not yet in your company account.

How to see users who have access to a space

Open the desired space and click on the icon with little men in the upper right corner:

In the panel that appears, you will see all users who have already been added to the space and their roles, including yourself:

How to add colleagues that are already in FlowFast to a space

To add new users to a space, click on the icon with people and a plus. You will see a list of users that you can add.

Next, select the desired members and assign roles to them in the space.

Please note! To invite users to spaces, you must have the appropriate permission given to you in your user rights settings:


The list of people you can invite to spaces may vary depending on your account settings and your permissions.

  1. By default, you can only add users who are already present in the spaces you are added to.

  2. If you have access to the Members administrative section, you can add any company member to the spaces.

    If you do not have such an opportunity, you can ask the Account Owner or users with access to the administrative section «Members» to provide access.

  3. If the Company settings contain domains of company members who can invite each other to spaces, you will be able to invite any account users with the specified domains, if your domain is ALSO entered in this settings.

    For example, your company has employees with domain1.com and domain2.com domains. Both of these domains are entered in a special field in the Company settings. If you have, for example, the domain1.com domain, you can invite any account users with domain1.com and domain2.com domains to the space. However, if the company also has users with other domains, they will not be reflected in the list of people you can invite.

    If you have a different domain, for example, domain3.com, which is not specified in the settings, you will not be able to invite users to spaces.

How to invite new members to the space

To invite a new member, click on the «Users» button in the upper right area of the space. Then click on the icon with little men and a plus and go to the «Send invite» tab.

How to add a user group to a space

Typically, user groups are used in large teams to speed up the process of transferring rights to a large number of employees.

To add a user group to a space:

1. Go to the space and click on the «Users» icon, then click on the icon with little men and a plus sign;

2. Select "Add groups";

3. Select the group you want to add to the space.

Adding guest users to a space

You can also invite guests to your spaces. Guest users can view boards and post comments in cards, but do not require payment.
