Grid format

Grid is one of the types of visual representation of spaces where boards and cards are arranged in the form of a table.

To switch to this view, click the corresponding icon in the top bar:

The names of the boards in the Grid are written in purple in the «Title» column. Boards and cards are displayed in their order in the Boards format: top-down, left-right.

The most important difference of this representation of space is the ability to structure information about cards and download it as a table in xlsx format

To do this, click the «Download» button in the upper right corner.

In addition, in the Grid view, you can:

1. Apply a filter system to find the cards you need.

Click the «Filters» button → select the filter you need.

2. Add and remove fields displayed in the table

Click «Settings» → «Field settings» → check the box next to the fields you need.

3. Adjust column width

To do this, click on the column border and move it without releasing the mouse button. FlowFast will remember your settings so you don't have to adjust anything the next time you visit.

4. Move cards

Hover over the name of the card, and a move icon will appear to the left of the name - drag the card to the location you need.

When moving a card to a child block of another card, FlowFast will ask you if you want to add a link between these cards. You can either simply move the card or add a new link during the move. If the card is transferred from a child block, Kaiten will offer to delete the link.

5. See total values for numeric fields (numeric field sums)

At the bottom of the table, the sum of the values for some fields of the cards is shown. Values are calculated for the following fields:

  • size,

  • cumulative blocks time,

  • total time;

  • as well as for custom properties: number, formula, collective value, vote (emoji set).

*If the space has a parent card and its child cards, and the parent card has numeric fields, then only the values of the parent card will be summed up. If the parent card does not have numeric fields, then the numeric fields of the child cards will be summed up.
