Sometimes situations happen when there is no administrator on the space.
You can regain administrator access if you are the owner of the account or have access to the administrative sections "Members" or "Spaces".
In this article, we will cover 3 ways to restore access to a space.
If you are using the space access setup via Groups:
Go to the Members administrative section;
Open the Groups tab;
Create a special Administrators group, or use an existing one if you have it;
In the edit mode of this group, you can grant administrative access to the desired space.
If you don't use Groups, but you own an account or have access to the administrative section Spaces, you can change your role directly on the space if you are a member there.
To do this:
Select the desired space that you want to regain administrator access to and go to it;
To change your role go to Users - the icon at the top right of the space;
Click on yourself and change your role to Admin.
This method will work if there are no administrators left on the space and no users with access to the administrative section Spaces.
In this case, the company owner can join this or any other company space that they are not invited to, and automatically become its administrator.
To do this, the company owner needs to:
Go to the administrative section Spaces (on the left sidebar);
Select the desired space;
Click on the "Join" button – the company owner can join any spaces, even those which he or she has not been invited to;
The company owner will automatically become the Admin of that space and will be able to make other users administrators.
