Registration and authorization in FlowFast

In this article you'll learn how to:

  • Register in FlowFast;

  • Authorize in FlowFast with a pin code or a password;

  • What steps should be taken if some users in your company account cannot authorize in FlowFast.

Registration in FlowFast

To register a company account in FlowFast you need to open our main page https://flowfast.io/ and fill in the form.

As soon as you fill in the form your account will be created and we'll send you a company activation email. You need to follow the link in the email to open and activate your account and start collaboration.

While registering you can choose between three tariffs: paid ones Standard or Pro and Free. You can test our paid tariffs for 14 days at no cost without attaching your credit card data.

Сompany account

As soon as you finished registration and created an account you become its owner.

In your company account you:

  • create spaces and invite other users for collaboration. The invited user shouldn't register their own account beforehand. They will be automatically registered after they follow the link form the invitation letter they get. The invitation is active for 7 days after it was sent;

  • choose the tariff that is applied to all the account, which means it is common for all the users in your account.

Every account in FlowFast has its own domain: У каждого аккаунта в Кайтене есть свой домен вида DOMAIN.flowfast.io. You create the domain for your account while registering.

👉 Please note that the owner can pass their rights to new owners if the wish.

Authorization in FlowFast

There are several ways to authorize in FlowFast. The major ones are with the help of a pin code or a password.

Pin code authorization

By default when you authorize in your company account you need to insert a PIN code that is sent by email. It means that you don't need to memorize your password to sign in.

Type in your email address in the required field and get your PIN code.

Password authorization

If you wish to use password instead of a PIN code you need to do the following:

1. Set password.

Open the Profile settings by clicking your profile picture or initials in the upper right corner - Profile settings - Set password.

2. Add the link to your company to bookmarks for quick access

If you need to authorize in FlowFast just follow this link. You can use a password instead of a PIN code to authorize.

3. To enter your password click «Use password to login»

If you forgot your password you need to authorize using a PIN code.Please enter your email and click Enter. Then you need to change your password in the profile settings.

Please note! There is no option to authorize with the password in the mobile app.

Other authorization methods

Beside the two mentioned authorization methods (by PIN code or password) there are also other authorization methods:

  • Google workspace

  • LDAP

  • Open ID connect with secret

You can change the current method in the administrative section В административном разделе «Company settings» (available on paid tariffs with the Group management add-on/module included).

After choosing the authorization method fill in the required fields and save the changes.

If you chose any other option but the standard one (PIN code) there will be an option to Test the chosen authorization. This is an obligatory step.

After testing the authorization you'll see the option to Activate authorization.

Please note that until you have activated the new authorization method, users using emails with corporate domains will be able to log into the company using a PIN.

What steps should be taken if some users in your company account cannot authorize in FlowFast.

Sometimes it happens that some company members cannot authorize in FlowFast and they see the banner «You don't have access to the current company» while authorizing. This problem can be solved by the account owner or any other users who have access to the Members administrative section.

1. Go to the Members administrative section.

2. Find the user who cannot authorize on the list. You need to type in the email and choose access rights in the filter. Then you need to adjust the user's access rights to FlowFast to Guest or Member.
