You can now keep your boards neat with the help of automations, keep an eye on changes of due dates and pick up next actions depending on the changes in due dates. Besides you can add parent cards to your tasks.
Let's take a closer look on the way new automations work.
This action can help you keep the required order of cards on your boards without extra work.
Choose the necessary event, for example moving or creating a card. Chose an action «Sort cards» that will be triggered by the event.
Next choose sorting criteria. It can be the title, due date, size or any other important custom property.
Then pick up the sorting direction: either ascending or descending.
Finally, choose whether you want your cards to be sorted within a lane or the entire column.
Done! Now your cards will be placed in the required order automatically.
This trigger will help you monitor the changes of deadlines in your cards. If you combine the trigger with the condition «Due date» you can control how exactly was the due date changed and have a required automated action done based on these changes.
Choose one of the options of deadline changes that you want to track:
due date is set (if the deadline is set for the first time or is changed to a new date);
due date is changed (if the existing due date is changed);
due date is cleared (if you remove the existing due date).
Set the new due date that initiates further actions. It can be a precise or event date, various periods of deviation, you also set the deadlines and starting point.
If it doesn't matter how exactly the due date was changed and only the fact of the change is important you can choose the «any» option in the condition. besides you can skip the condition at all and only use the trigger «Due date is changed».
For example: If the due date in the card is set from 1 to 4 days, the card should be moved to the required board with urgent tasks (take a look at the screenshot below).
Besides this, you can use the «Due date» condition together with other triggers, which allows you to manage your processes in a more thorough way.
New action Новое действие «Add parent card» allows to attach a card to the required parent one.
For instance, when the cards get to a certain board they all are added as children to the specified parent card.
If there is no parent card created, you can do it by using the «Create parent card» option. It works exactly like the «Create child card» one.
New option «Event author» in the «Add card members» event.
