FlowFast interface

In this article you can learn how to navigate and not get lost while searching for the desired features in FlowFast.

There are 4 main zones in FlowFast interface:

  1. Left-side panel — major modules and sections in FlowFast.

  2. Top panel — space management, notifications, help, profile settings.

  3. Right-side panel — quick access to important features: users, recent activity, scheduled tasks, batch actions and automation.

  4. Central area — your space with boards and cards.

Let's take a closer look at each of them.

Left-side panel

Left-side panel can differ for each user depending on their access rights:

  • All the users have access to the following sections: Dashboard, Spaces, Documents;

  • Story Maps, Timesheets, Service Desk are additional modules (add-ons) available on paid tariffs in FlowFast;

  • Administration section is available to the company account owner and to those users who were granted access to administrative sections and functions.

  1. Dashboard. Here you can find 3 sections with your personal data:

    • In the Cards tab you can find and sort all your cards based upon 3 criteria: Space, Status, Role. Additionally you can tip only ASAP cards.

    • In the Activity tab yo can see all your actions in FlowFast: card movement, marking checklist items, appointing responsible members, etc.

    • In the Timesheets tab you can learn how much time you spent on tasks during a week, month or any other custom period. To see the time you spent on tasks you need to turn on a timer while working with a card.

  2. Spaces. Here you can see the list of all spaces you have access to. When you click on the name you get to the needed space and can work in it.

    Besides, on the left-side pane you can:

    • Press the PLUS button beside the name of a space to create a board, place an existing board from another space, import data from other systems;

    • Press the GEAR button to open the space settings;

    • Press THREE DOTS to see other available options.

  3. Documents. Here you can see all the folders and documents in your company account that you have access to. If you press a PLUS button you can create a new folder or document. It's available to all users except for guest users.

  4. Story Maps. It's a separate module that allows you to create User Story Maps. It's available on paid tariffs in FlowFast. You can see all the USMs available to you on the left-side panel. If you click on Story Maps button you'll get into the sections itself.

  5. Timesheets. This module allow users record the time they spend on working with the cards and lets managers see the workload of staff members. The module is available on paid tariffs. The button Timesheets on the left allows you switch to this section.

  6. Service Desk. This module enables you to work with the requests coming from external users who don't use FlowFast. It's available on paid tariffs. The button on the left-side panel opens the section. Please don't confuse the module with the FlowFast support chat where you can address your questions about the service to our Support team. Please press the QUESTION button in the top panel and choose Ask questions in chat if you need help.

  7. Administration. Here you can find 9 administrative sections to manage your company account, spaces and users. The number of available administrative sections may differ depending on the provided access rights.

Top panel

  1. Here you can switch between various space formats/ visual representations.

  2. By pressing ADD you can add a board, create a card or import data from other systems.

  3. Here you can use filters and sets of filters that'll be applied to the cards on a space.

  4. You can turn on/off a compact view of a space.

  5. You can search for cards by key words on a certain or all spaces.

  1. Here you can find helpful resources to work in FlowFast:

  1. If you press this button you'll see internal notifications about actions with cards. You can enable notifications in the profile settings. There you can also choose events that will trigger notifications.

  2. Here you can find your profile settings and:

  • Fill in personal data and change a profile picture;

  • Set notifications;

  • Choose the color theme;

  • Chose the language;

  • Set password;

  • Set calendar integration (Google, Outlook, etc.)

  • Get/reset API key.

Right-side panel

  1. Here you can manage users who already have access to a space, see roles, add new users.

  2. Here you can find the information about actions on a space.

  3. You can create planned/regular tasks.

  4. You can select multiple cards and perform some changes with all of at a time.

  5. This sections allows you to automate you work in FlowFast.

Space with boards and cards

The space is the place were your boards and cards are located. You can place an unlimited number of boards in one space.

The plus button beside the column or lane lets you add new columns/subcolumns/lanes to the board.

The three dots button beside a column/subcolumn/lane opens the context menu that shows all the allowed options to work with the element of a board.

Placing a cursor on an empty area on a board lets you create a new card.
