Collective value/score

In FlowFast, a field can be created into which multiple users can enter values. Such a field would be useful for team evaluation of the priority of a task or its complexity.

In this article you will learn:

  • How to create a field for collective assessment;

  • How to add a field to a card;

  • How the team rating is done.

How to create a collective value field

Only users with access rights to the "Custom properties" administrative section can create new fields.

  1. Go to the administrative menu in the left-hand panel → Custom properties.

  1. Click "Add custom property".

  2. Enter the name of the field and select the field type. If more than one person is involved in the assessment - select the type "Collective value".

How to add a property to a card

Open the card, click the purple plus button and select the field you want to add.

*On the list of fields this field will be named exactly as it was named by the creator.

How collective assessment works

Once you have added a field with the type "Collective value" to the card, a window will open in which you and your colleagues can enter your scores.

To invite colleagues for the assessment, click on the "Invite colleagues" button. A link will be copied to the clipboard, which can be thrown to your work chat or sent by email.

When a colleague clicks this link you will see their avatar in the window.

When colleagues vote, you will see their scores. At this stage, the team usually meets or calls to discuss the scores and choose a final score for the task.

FlowFast offers four options for calculating the collective score: minimum, maximum, median and average. You can choose one of them or enter your own value in the "Collective score" field.
