Calendar format

Calendar is one of the display modes of the workspace. To switch to this mode, click the calendar icon on the top panel:

In this space format, you see the cards arranged on a calendar grid.

The cards are displayed on the calendar if the following fields are filled in:

  •  Due date - The date on which the card should go to the column with the type "Done";

  • Custom property "Date";

  • or Timeline - the interval of time in which the task should be executed.

You can select which cards will be displayed on the calendar, with the Due date, the Timeline field, or with the custom Date property in the selector at the top left of the screen:

It's also convenient that as you move cards on the calendar from one date to another, the value in the appropriate field will also change. For example, a card had a deadline of February 4, and you move it to February 6 in the calendar - then the due date within the card will also change.

You can select the period of displaying at the top right: Month / Week / Day. And scroll through the time periods using the buttons in the upper left corner.

How and why to use Calendar

This format is handy if you need to schedule many tasks with specific deadlines. For example:

  • paying employees on freelance jobs;

  • preparing and publishing posts on social networks;

  • publishing promotional offers on your site;

  • releases with specific dates;

  • conducting webinars;

  • delivering orders to customers, etc.

You can create new cards right in the Calendar

To do this, click the cell with the date (or time) when the task is to be completed and create a new card:

The card will appear in both Calendar and Board. You will be able to edit and view information on it in all space formats.

On the Calendar, the card will look like this:

Card colour corresponds to the colour of the card type.

On the right, icons show the stage of work (Queue, in progress, or done) and the responsible member is displayed.

If it is marked "ASAP", the fire emoji (🔥) will appear to the left of the name.

You can change the due date of cards right on the Calendar.

To do this, put the cursor on the card, click, and move the card to the cell with the desired date. Inside the card in the "Due date" field, the date will also be automatically updated.
