Automation: prioritizing, copying, new conditions and actions

You can now set the order of automations depending on their priority, copy the existing automations, automatically add comments to your cards and control the fulfilment of checklists.

Action "Add comment"

One of the most desired feature in Automation. It allows you to deliver information about some event or the reaction to it to all the card subscribers rapidly.

When creating a comment you can mention the necessary user (e.g. space admin) and edit the text as you wish.

For instance, if some of employees change the due date in a card postponing work, the comment with the clarifying question appears in the card.

Event «Checklist item is checked»

From now on you can set automated actions to the cards based on checklists. You can make the event more concrete by using conditions about the contents of the checklist item or sticking to the due date.

Together with the Template checklists instrument it'll help you to control all the stages of working with the card.

For example, if the checklist item contains certain text, the card is moved to the next column.

The priority of automations

We added the ability to move automations on the list. By doing this you can set the order of their fulfillment.

If you have a rule that should be performed first and determine the work of other rules, just move it to the top of the list.

Thus, you get an additional instrument to set various scenarios of one and the same event and can create a fully-fledged algorithm of the card auto-procession.

Copying automations

It's hard to do without copy-paste when it comes to the tasks of the same type. So, we added the copying function to the automation menu. This'll help you automate your spaces with less effort.

When you click "Copy" the creation from with the preset fields will open.
